DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND TASKS
The rate of growth of the Navy ERP database, along with concerns for system performance and cost savings, makes it imperative to reduce the database size as quickly as possible. The Navy ERP database exceeded recommended usage in April 2020 as was previously projected. The scale up of the ERP database provide a short reprieve. With so little time available, archiving with a phased or agile approach is recommended, though the Navy is open to considering alternative approaches and methods.
Performs analytic work in support of systems engineering or planning activities, including the development of preliminary and detailed functional analysis required for ERP systems. Subject matter functional expertise provided includes areas such as finance, controlling, asset accounting or asset management. Introduces innovative approaches and methodologies for processes and support systems. May provide leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel.
Required skills/Level of Experience per the LCAT :
Twelve years applied experience in specific area of expertise including functional experience with relevant processes and SAP or ERP systems.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional four years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.
FI Functional expertise; strong Federal/Knowledge so that they understand the requirements for the retention periods of the data.
