SAP Support/Upgrade Project Manager

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND TASKS:
 
Project Description:
The objective of this task is to provide integrated system sustainment enhancement and infrastructure upgrade support services for the entire Navy ERP environment to include the principle Systems Applications and Products (SAP) ERP Central Component (ECC), Business Intelligence (BI), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Supplier Management, Relationship (SRM), and Business Objects Enterprise (BOE), Projects, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Access Enforcer, Application Violation Management (AVM), Central User Administration (CUA), Document Management System (DMS), DocBuilder, SAP Solution Manager and Global Templates, SAP Portals and other system tools in accordance with Process Improvement, Reengineering, Management and Data Support Services Two (PIRMDS2) Performance Work Statements.
This task order is intended to be a framework for the steady delivery of future items that includes Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Design Changes, Audit and other Regulatory Compliance work and Quality Center Items (QCIs). All such work will be based on business needs that includes responsive support to the Funding sponsor request for changes in priority, scope and technical feasibility.
 
Position Description:
 
Functional Responsibility:  The Mid Level Project Manager develops project goals, strategies, and work plans, develops and approves project estimates, and commits customer resources to ensure accomplishment of project objectives. The Mid Level Project Manager leads project teams of multi-disciplinary skills or with skills focused in a specific technical area and provides direction across broad areas of responsibility. The Mid Level Project Manager schedules and assigns work to subordinates and subcontractors and monitors progress and resolves discrepancies to ensure compliance with work/quality standards and contract/task order requirements. The Mid Level Project Manager operates with wide latitude for un-reviewed actions or decisions, is assigned to complex tasks involving multiple disciplines, tasks involving competing or changing priorities and resource demands, or tasks that are highly sensitive to the customer. The Mid Level Project Manager ensures that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order(s) are implemented within estimated timeframes and budget constraints. The Mid Level Project Manager reports orally and in writing to the Program Manager, Senior Project Manager contractor management, and government representatives. In the absence of the Program Manager or Senior Project Manager, the Mid Level Project Manager may serve as the Contractor's authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer's Representative/Technical Representative (COR/COTR), government management personnel, and agency representatives and may be authorized to negotiate and make decisions binding on the Contractor.


 
Required skills/Level of Experience per the LCAT :
 
Minimum/General Experience: Four (4) years of technical experience of increasing responsibilities in task and project management of Information Technology projects. Requires knowledge of available hardware, related system software, system integration techniques, network management, and project management practices. Demonstrates ability to work independently based on the strategic plan or under general direction. Must be able to effectively employ contemporary project management tools.

Additional Skills not include in included in the LCAT:
 
Configuration experience required.  Experience in business processes relevant to Navy ERP in SAP is desired.
