DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND TASKS:
 
Project Description:
The purpose of this work is to achieve Treasury Financial Manual (TFM) compliance across the identified universe of DON ERP posting logic issues with a goal of remediating Posting Logic (PL)deficiencies, improving system controls, and reviewing/defining procedures to promote standardization and/or centralization of PL system changes within DON ERP. With DON ERP as the future system of record for all centralized accounting and financial reporting it is imperative the system’s posting logic is correct, compliant, and able to produce the expected financial and budgetary accounting relationships for complete and accurate financial reporting.
 
Position Description:
 
Functional Responsibility:  Performs analytic work in support of systems engineering or planning activities, including the development of preliminary and detailed functional analysis required for ERP systems. Subject matter functional expertise provided includes areas such as inventory management, supply, provisioning, maintenance, transportation, personnel, financial management, and administration. Introduces innovative approaches and methodologies for processes and support systems. May provide leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel.

 
Required skills/Level of Experience per the LCAT :
 
Minimum/General Experience: Twelve years applied experience in specific area of expertise including functional experience with relevant processes in SAP or other Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS)/ERP systems to match the Performance Work Statement requirements.

Required Education: Bachelors Degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional four years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelors Degree
 
Configuration experience required. Must have Federal SAP SD experience.
 

Additional Skills not include in included in the LCAT:
 
Configuration experience required.  Experience in business processes relevant to Navy ERP in SAP IM or MM is desired.
