SAP FM SME - SFIS

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND TASKS:
 
Project Description:
The Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS) is a comprehensive data structure that supports requirements for budgeting, financial accounting, cost/performance, and external reporting needs across the DoD enterprise. SFIS standardizes financial reporting across DoD and allows revenues and expenses to be reported by programs that align with major goals, rather than basing reporting primarily on appropriation categories. It also enables decision-makers to efficiently compare programs and their associated activities and costs across the department and provides a basis for common valuation of DoD programs, assets, and liabilities.
 
Position Description:
 
This position is expected to provide expert level business process guidance on SAP requirements and design and audit readiness. This position requires experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP FM to: process transactions associated with budget entry, supplements, transfers, returns, funds reservations, funds commitments, budgetary ledger, special purpose ledger, and budget version planning; perform year end close; enable automatic availability control/checking; and reconcile differences between AVC and FM ledgers. Candidate must have expertise with MM, SD, and FI to integrate functionality.

 Required skills/Level of Experience per the LCAT :
 
Twelve years applied experience in specific area of expertiseincluding functional experience with relevant processes in SAP or other Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS)/ERPsystemsto match the Performance Work Statement requirements.
 
Bachelors Degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional four years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelors Degree.
 
Federal configuration/implementation experience required.  
 
Additional Skills not include in included in the LCAT:
 
Configuration experience required.  Experience in business processes relevant to Navy ERP in SAP FM or FM is desired.
